Complaint Type: General Dispute
Plaintiff: Jed Aye
Self Rep: no
Lawyer Name: Robert Zane
Respondent: bcso
Claim:
On or about the date of the 30th of November i Jed Aye was assisting my friend (Jammie Dodger) to carry out some renovations on his new property while doing so the house alarm was accidently triggered obviously this resulted in the swift response of the bcso upon the arrival of the sheriffs Jammie tried to explain the situation and was ignored and 2-3 sheriffs entered the property where i was trying to search for the code to turn off the alarm. At this point with guns drawn the sheriffs escorted out of the property and noticed was in possession of a sawn-off shot gun that i had found in jammies house while removing some of the previous owners belongings. As the good citizen i am i promptly tried to hand the weapon over but the sheriffs refused to take it so i dropped it on the floor and stepped away from it i was then placed in cuffs and arrested for being in possession of the weapon that had been handed over willingly. I was then taken to the cells and had my lawfully owned possession removed from my pockets for them never to be returned to me upon my release from prison. Luckily Jammie had installed cctv to the interior and exterior of his property so I have evidence of the full interaction and my unlawful arrest.
Demand:
-Wrongful imprisonment and removal of conviction for record,
-Financial losses from unreturned property and loss of earnings while incarcerated,
-Punitive damages to deter similar misconduct by the sheriffs involved,
-Any further relief for psychological and physical trauma incurred by being wrongfully imprisoned that is deemed just and proper by the Court
